David has been a resident of London for most of his adult life and has participated as an exhibitor in the London Pride Art Shows over the last fifteen years. An artistic thread is woven through everything he does: from early years spent studying and collaborating with other artists, as well as teaching art, to his full time career over the last twenty five years as an independent Landscape Designer/Contractor and Interior Designer/Renovator.

David holds a degree from Western University in Geography and Natural Science and a degree in Education from Althouse College. His formative training was at the Willastead Gallery in Windsor. In those early days, he began painting in oils and pastels, and since then has explored working in raised relief & sculptures, has worked with tools, spinning & dying yarn, and teaching off-loom weaving techniques through workshops, as well as running his own pottery studio and producing original designs in stained glass and silver. He has expanded his oil painting style to include free form abstracts, multi-media works detailing the male form with stunning colour and texture, and, most recently, combinations of acrylic and oil in richly textural compositions. Many of his works are currently held in private collections in London, Windsor, Toronto and Vancouver.

David brings imagination to life in all aspects of his work and artistry, where it is a landscaped garden, a sculpted deck, a waterfall cascading magically over natural stone, or a series of paintings glorifying the male form. His originality is constantly evident in all of the many ways he chooses to give expression to the creative force within.
